I know this will not make sense for a lot of those who may be reading this, because you do not know who the lady is, but I need to shout it from this metaphorical roof top:

LUCIANA LITTIZZETTO RULES!!!!

This fine lady is an Italian comedian who, every Sunday evening during her allotted time in a primetime talk show, uses satire and yes, sarcasm as well, when the situation warrants it, to tell the public to wake the *bleeeep* up and stop believing all the bull they get served with everyday.

Some may say her jokes or her topics are unrefined, but for me, she is just riotously funny and genuine and direct. This very same thing cannot be said about all those that grace our tv screens. She is describing to us the way we are, in all our absurdity, and she has us in hysterics about it, too. If this isn't talent, I do not know what it is.

One of the best around the Italian tv landscape these days, really.

 

going to see Bruce

I hope I'm wrong, and that as soon as I grow confident with the 'LJ feel', things are going to change, but I'm afraid I can already see I am not going to be a frequent updater, even though I try my hardest to leave feedback for all the stories I read. But this, this I had to write down before I burst into a happy bubble:

I finally got the tickets to the Bruce Springsteen concert that is going to take place here in Rome in July!!!!!

YAY I'm going to see the Boss live and I can't wait!!!!! ^___________^

I don't go to many concerts, I usually do not waste the effort or the money on artists that I kinda like, but that don't really 'touch' me. So far this attitude has paid off for me, because, when I actually go, my anticipation and the energy generated by all the people there became an incredible mix, and that alone makes sure I will never forget that night, or confuse it with 'some other concerts' or 'some other night'.

I like my memories etched in, and deep. Since the bad one haves a way to be so on their own, a girl's gotta find a way to work this kind of magic on the good ones too, no matter where they come from ;)
